Such as it is:
On Sunday it appeared that a Liberal Party candidate would be named for Lambton-Kent-Middlesex (LKM). As the CBC reports (http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/windsor/lambton-kent-middlesex-still-without-liberal-candidate-after-nomination-falls-through-1.4661473) the announcement and campaign launch scheduled on Sunday was cancelled. According to a Liberal riding association spokesman, the nominee Ryan O'Hagan did not pass the party vetting process. No details were given. So the position is still open with just over two days left to the deadline for nominations.
There is still no Liberal Party candidate in Sarnia-Lambton.
On the topic of vetting, in London West, PC candidate Andrew Lawton continues to proclaim himself a changed man who has recovered from his "reckless past" with a commitment to address the issues facing those suffering from mental illness. So far, his remorse and honesty about his mental health has continued to provide him a degree of immunity and the continued backing of Doug Ford.
Hey, it worked for Britney Spears, so why not a candidate for provincial office. "Oops, I did it again."
-- (sorry I couldn't resist)
